My entie site isn't loading

  I manage a WordPress site at http://www.thewelleffect.com and for some reason the whole site is no longer loading. The domain is still active and it’s been working for months, so I wondered if anything’s changed on the WordPress side that is causing this problem.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Your domain thewelleffect.com is mapped to a WordPress.com site, but the domain’s name servers aren’t pointed to WordPress.com. If you want to use this domain with your WordPress.com site, you’ll need to update the name servers to the following:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  This is done with your domain registrar, and you can contact them for further help with that step if you need.

  Thanks! It worked.

  Any idea why either these settings changed or stopped working? (The site’s been up for months and I never touched those name server settings before.)

  Hi Jon,

  That’s great! I’m glad that resolved it.

  Those settings are controlled entirely by your domain registrar, not WordPress.com, so I can’t tell what would have changed them. You can contact your domain registrar to find out if they made a change to your domain’s settings, as they have control over them. I hope this helps! :)
