my exististing domain for building my website

I have bought 2 domain names from Author and Blogging Domains and ordered my website from the company. They made my website and activated domains… But the confusion is that my domains immediately redirect to their company URL… and they say so it must be… I am very frustrated and confused because I thought (and so it was promiced by them – that I will have my own website with my own domains) my website is my website with my domain URL only… I have paid them for making of my website and now have to pay 20 dollars a month for website hosting…
Feel I definitely this is not that I wanted… What can I do now? Can i cancel my domains for their URL and build for example my website in WordPress.com? It is my Author website with book selling page. Would be grateful for answers and advises.

not exactly. My domain have been already activated with a new website. My author website. The problem is a confusion : I thought it will be my website with my domain as the only URL. However, when I klick on my domain it immedeately redirect to URL of the company and my website is on the name of that company, it is only my name at the end…
my question is: can I build my own website on WordPress (not a blog, I already have a blog) with my domain names? Shall I deactivate them from the existing website or how it is possible to solve this problem?
