My footer isnt full width and I’m not sure why…

I’m on the free version of WP because I’m simply making a demo site, but I’d like the footer to actually be spread out rather than all on the left side. I’m pretty sure I can’t use CSS to fix it, but I feel like I should be able to fix it without that. Please let me know!

Interesting! I’m not sure whether it’s designed that way intentionally. It does look like the widgets are supposed to take up half the screen, but then (I would assume) they should grid up in rows on the left and right, or at least center themselves, instead of sticking to the left. I’ll check in with the designers.
For what it’s worth, with Barnsbury, most of what you see is just in the front page template. You can get the same layout for the middle part, just different header and footer and font / color options, by switching themes and keeping your existing page.
