My friend's blog/account was deleted

  I’m writing on behalf of her as when she tries to log in it says it’s no longer available as the authors have deleted site. She didn’t delete the site and as she no longer has an account she can’t use support. I want to emphasize, she did not delete the account or blog herself. The url to her blog is https://nikita8.wordpress.com/

  Is there anything she can do to recover her account or the blog’s content?

  An account cannot just be deleted with her knowledge unless someone has access to her wordpress.com account and her email account. A deleted account can be restored within 30 days after deletion. I tagged this to get help from Staff.

  Hi Natalie,

  The site at https://nikita8.wordpress.com/ was not deleted, but rather that site’s address was changed to something else, by the account that owns it, four months ago. And the account that owns that site, now at the address, https://nicomfran.wordpress.com/, has not been deleted but still exists on our system.

  As @staartmees indicated above, a WordPress.com account can only be deleted by someone who is actually logged into the account – not even WordPress.com staff can delete someone’s account for them. And a site can only be deleted by a logged in admin.
