    Highschool life is indeed true that it is the best experience ever in my whole life experience from elementary to where I am now. Daily chats and simply hanging around them on a daily basis is so much fun. Since we pretty much took up the same subjects, we competed with each other, who gets the most recognition and such, and still be friends with each other. One thing I noticed though, some of the teachers practised, or maybe a more appropriate word is, unaware that they are playing favorites.. How bad can that be? So here I go, this will be my fourth attempt I hope I will be successful. I do not know why I kept loosing my write up…( Pause..When I came to North America, I found out that their highschool specifically grades 11-12 are not as structured as ours, for example, when it comes to choosing your own subjects, it is a preparatory to your chosen field in College or Universities; which I think is awesome, and can really perform since an individual can map their own path geared towards the course they want to pursue in adult learning. So why do I say this? ( back to Philippine setting, the problem I see with assessment is a ” One size fits all” The danger to this is if an individual being assess of something he/she in not interested in is detrimental to their result oriented assessment. In my experience even though I knew I work so hard in all subjects, there’s always that area where I knew I will not be able to produce best result, and that Math. I know in my heart I will NOT engage myself in that area, however, I have to go through that process. Back to assessment, if my Teacher new that I am very weak in this area, she could have been a little lenient in grading me. This is it for now.. Kind of scared, I might loose this writing again. I will be back sooner that you think to get back to my point.
