My host company deleted my site :(

    Hi, Yesterday I received some devastating news. The company I was using to host my site had gone bankrupt and have deleted all the sites off their server and shutdown their backup server as well. So over night I lost my full website and my client access.

    I was hoping WordPress may have a backup or anything that could help me retrieve any data. I had pages and blogs written and now its all gone :(. I used the feature a few times to revert pages back to previous history so hoping something may be stored with WordPress.

    Hi there,

    WordPress is the software used to build your site and it’s not possible to store any of your site’s contents. Furthermore, we are WordPress.com, the hosting company and since your site wasn’t stored in our servers we don’t have access to its contents.

    You can try and retrieve a cached copy of your site’s data by searching Google’s cache and Internet Archive’s database:
