My hosting at wordpress.com has expired, but I need some database files.

    I am transferring my website to a different host. I am missing the database files from WordPress.com. Please tell me how to get them now as my hosting with WordPress.com has expired.

    WP.com: Unknown
    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    The only way to move a site from wordpress.com to a self-hosted wordpress.org site, is described at https://move.wordpress.com/

    Hi there,

    What is the URL of the site you are needing database files from? kotacityblog.com yes?

    I see you have a Jetpack backup plan for this site, so the easiest way to access all files for your site is to download a backup. You can do that here by picking a recent backup here and choosing the download option: https://wordpress.com/backup/kotacityblog.com

    When you download the backup to your computer, you can open the package there and find a full SQL DB dump, as well as source files from your site.
