My Menu on my Dashboard is missing tools like ‘Settings’ and ‘Appearance’

    How do i get ‘Settings’ and ‘Appearance’ to show on my dashboard menu?

    Hi there,

    What is the URL of the site you’re working on, and what exactly are you trying to do?

    WordPress.com site settings are found at My Site ->Manage ->Settings, and customizations to the theme is done at My Site ->Design ->Customize.

    The Settings and Appearance items in WP-Admin still exist, but the majority of those options have been moved to the My Sites menu for sites hosted on WordPress.com.
