My new posting disappeared when I hit Publish, except for the title

  My new posting disappeared when I hit Publish, except for the title. Where has it gone? How can I retrieve it? I can’t even see the tab that will let me return it to Draft.

  I composed my post online, checked preview, everything looked OK. When I hit Publish, all I got was the title, category and tags. Everything else was gone. Back in Edit I saw the last of 3 images I had inserted, but ALL the text had gone, and there seems no obvious way of retrieving it. That’s a lot of work, with nothing to show for it, with no clue as to what went wrong. I suspect it’s to do with multiple image placement, two on one line(?) use of centring gizmo, plus attempts to edit or delete captions (pure guess).
