My old admin quit how do I edit the website now?

The old admin quit and didn’t leave the login info for us to update the website. What do I do now? I can copy and export the layouts of the pages but I cannot edit once published.

What I post below applies only to sites hosted by WordPress.COM on our servers and not to sites hosted anywhere else.
Companies, businesses, organizations and groups of any kind do not own sites. WordPress.COM sites are solely owned by the username accounts that registered them.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
* You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with the actual blog’s name in that URL.
I recommend bookmarking that link or memorizing it.
You can update your email address here https://wordpress.com/me
If you did register the site and are not logged in under the correct WordPress.COM username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into another account
If you did not register the site under your username account and do not have the required access, then you need to contact the person who registered the account and site under it, and have them act or transfer the site to your username account by using this process. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
Only one Admin per site is what’s recommended https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator
