My Own Domain Name

    Hi,
    I am about to upgrade the plan and my question is I have my own domain name that Blue Host helped me to register but not hosting my website. The domain name was registered last week. So, how do I connect my own domain name. I already had a website created on WordPress. I have read the article ‘Use a Domain you already own’ it stated that I have to pay $18 to renew. WHY? Thank you.

    Hi there,

    Free sites on WordPress.com use the free “wordpress.com” domain, but if you want to use a custom domain you do need an upgrade for that. In this case I see you upgraded to our Personal Plan, which includes the domain connection for free as a part of the plan.

    I can confirm you had help from our staff using the priority support included in your plan, and have connected your beesadventure.com domain and it is currently set as the primary address of your WordPress.com site. Click to view image
