My password protected page gives a 404 error

    I have created a page that I would like to keep internal to my company, so I figured the easiest way was to make it password protected. I have chosen my password and updated the page and am constantly getting a 404 error when trying to preview. My colleagues, on the other side, can still access the page and are not asked for a password at any point. Has anyone experienced the same issue?

    On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

    If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.
