my poem post date is in the future namely december 14 2019 when I actually posted december 13, 2019

hi, I recently posted a poem of mine on December 13 2019 – however the post link claims it has been posted December 14 2019- as it is not even December 14, 2019 and still December 13 2019 I dont see why this is? Also this could cause trouble for me if some other writer says I took their work maliciously when the poem is originally mine.

Hi, thanks for trying to help- the thing is before, like weeks and months before this issue doesn’t occur then it occurs once in a while here. so , I don’t believe its an issue with time settings since the posting times are ussually accurate. Once in a while the post gives the date in the future a day in advance when Im writing in the present day.

The post date seems to jump….sometimes its on the right date…sometimes its in the future- there is no clear time when I can show the post date…it just seems to happen randomly sometimes. Thanks for trying to help. Guess this is too difficult to solve or too random.

My only thought is maybe the time zone settings aren’t staying consistent: https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/time-settings/
Perhaps check that first thing the next time this happens.

@kidlitales we might be able to help more. Given that sometimes it works and sometimes it does not, and I assume you’re not changing timezones on the app (or in person), could you think about anything that is changing? For example, does it work when you use an app but not when you use a browser? If you can think of any details like that, let us know; we can use those to hopefully duplicate the issue and find a solution.

That is correct, I am not changing timezones on the app or in person. I only really use my computer(laptop) chrome browser only. So, nothing is out of ordinary – I have just noticed that sometimes and seemingly randomly- the post date states that I am writing a day in the future. again this doesn’t happen all the time, but I notice it does occur sometimes and has in occured in past posts. It is currently not happening as of today when I posted it was the current date today.
