My posts don’t show up on my blog page

    I changed the permalinks setting to ‘post name’ and my posts stopped showing up on my blog page. In the customization settings(OceanWP Theme), I have the blog post page set correctly and the menus look fine so I am not sure what happened.

    Things I tried:
    – I tried clearing the cache in the blog and browser.
    – I tried using a different browser, as well as my phone.
    – I tried deactivating a few plugins.
    – I tried loading a site backup.
    – I tried setting my posts from private to public.

    Not sure what happened so any help would be appreciated.

    We can’t help directly because we don’t host audiosmithy.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting. As a result, we can’t take a closer look at your site.

    Instead your host (Siteground) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform (sometimes called “WordPress.org”) which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com. Specifically, we do not have a custom permalink setting on WordPress.com, which was my clue that you may have your WordPress site through another provider.

    The folks in that forum are more familiar with these issues and are in the best position to help. Thanks!
