My previous account was deleted

    Hi my previous account username : chefski – Email for it : (email visible only to moderators and staff) . It was deleted by my partner frustrated with duplicate logins and content . Can we reinstate the jetpack service and the wordpress account. Also is there a way to find out what WordPress.com account are associated with (email visible only to moderators and staff) so we can fix this. Thank you

    Hi there,

    There is a WordPress.com username account with the username, chefski, but that account has not been deleted, and has existed on our system since 2008. There has never been any Jetpack site connected to that account, and there hasn’t been any recent activity on that account.

    If you had a username chefski that was deleted, it was a user created directly on the self-hosted site. In that case only another admin on the site, or someone with access to the site’s hosting account can create a new username on that site for you. We have no ability to do that, as we don’t control sites not hosted with us.

    We cannot reconnect Jetpack on a site from this end. Only an admin logged into the WP-Admin pages of the site can do that.

    lso is there a way to find out what WordPress.com account are associated with [email redacted] so we can fix this.

    That email address is currently associated with the pcachefski username account you used to create this thread. This account was created yesterday, only a few minuted before you created this thread, and has never owned any WordPress.com sites, nor has it ever been connected to any Jetpack sites.
