My protected site won’t let me in!
-
I’m the owner/administrator of mediajunkies.wordpress.com/, but I cannot get into the site. It’s a protected blog, and apparently, either I’ve forgotten the password to the site, or it’s locked me out.
When I go the the site, it tells me the following: “This site is marked private by its owner. If you would like to view it, you’ll need permission from the site owner. Request an invite and we’ll send your username to the site owner for their approval.” It says this even when I’m logged into WordPress.com.
When I then request an invite, it sends that request to the email address associated with my WordPress account – – the one I just successfully used to log into wordpress.com! (“Thank you. The site owner has been notified of your request.”)
When I go to y email and click on the link in that invite request to give myself “approval,” it takes me right back to the page that says “This site is marked private by its owner. You’ll need permission from the site owner…” And the whole cycle starts all over again!
Other users of the site are still able to access it, using their own credentials. But I cannot. Please help me get into my site again!
thanks,
TerryThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
