  • Hi there,

My site doesn’t refresh automatically after I posted a new blog. Viewers have to manually refresh page in order to see refreshed page with new post!

    Well, that is quite normal.

Are you referring to when a visitor is on your site when you’re publishing a new post? Whether it is you or a visitor, when that happens, you’ll need to refresh to see the new post.

Let me know if this is what you are referring to. Thanks!

Yes when a ‘visitor’ is looking at my site they can’t see my new post until they refresh the site manually. This is not good since not everyone knows if I posted anything new and think there is nothing new. I will lose my viewers…

  • Hi there,

A few things – I would say that it will be rare that someone will be navigating your site just as you post. Even if they are on your site when you publish, the likelihood of them seeing the post is still high if they are navigating through the site. Going back to the post page after the post is created will also allow the post to appear.

Also, if you have people who are subscribed to be notified of your posts via email or WordPress.com, they will know when you are posting. For more information about notifications, please visit our support page:

    Thanks,
