My site has been deleted?
-
I went to visit my website and it says ‘This Account has been suspended. Contact your hosting provider for more information.’
I thought it was the domain name host and didn’t think much of it, but on visiting the WordPress site I’m met with ‘coachjoewall.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.’Now being that I DEFINITELY didn’t delete my website, how do I go about undoing this and/or getting my site back?

Hi there,
What is the address of the site you’re trying to access? The message, “This Account has been suspended. Contact your hosting provider for more information” is not something that comes from our system, and will only appear on a site that is hosted with another provider – if your site is with us, we are your hosting provider, so it won’t make sense for us to tell you to contact your host.
The WordPress.com site, coachjoewall.wordpress.com is deleted, though. That site was created by the account you’re using to post here in May 2013, and your account deleted it in April 2017. It looks like the site was inactive for at least a year before you deleted it, so I don’t think that’s the site you are trying to access.
I don’t see any other sites connected to the account you’re using to post here.

Hi there,
I am thinking of setting up a website at WordPress but I now see a lot of sites being taken down by WordPress. How can I be sure mine would not be taken down? From what I have seen no explanation is ever offered. WordPress have been for free speech and still support like pirate bay which has loads of all sorts of porn etc so this new trend is very disturbing. -
Hi @mattssonniklas, If you read the above thread you’ll notice that the original poster of this thread was likely not hosted here on WordPressdotcom. (You say WordPress, but please be aware there is more than one flavor. More here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ )
Site suspensions here on WordPressdotcom are a result of violations of the Terms of Service where it says
By using WordPress.com, you represent and warrant that your Content and conduct do not violate these Terms or the User Guidelines.
When you sign up on WordPressdotcom, you agree to those Terms of Service. More on that at:
https://wordpress.com/tos/From what I have seen no explanation is ever offered.

Please note that we cannot discuss what might be a possible Terms of Service violation here on our public forums. I’ll go ahead and close this thread to further replies so we are not filling up @coachjoewall’s inbox with additional emails. Thanks for understanding.
