My site have ‘Your connection is not private’ message
-
People are receiving a security error saying ‘your connection is not private’ when trying to view my site mitradeplus.wordpress.com
I checked the help section for advice on SSL certificates and it said ‘In general, you should never see security warnings while using WordPress.com. And I’ve shared my wordpress post to Facebook, and try to promote the post on facebook using facebook AD, but they reject my AD. The reason why they rejected my AD is because they see the security error saying ‘your connection is not private’ when trying to view my site.
Can anyone help? PLEASE!

Hi there,
The error they’re seeing is a mixed content error, meaning the SSL certificate is working fine, but you have content on the site being embedded via http links, which cannot be encrypted.
For what post/page are you seeing this error? Does it have any images that are being hotlinked from somewhere else instead of inserted via the media library? If you remove those the error should go away.

Based on the notice I see if I check your site using the Facebook debugger at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/?q=https%3A%2F%2Fmitradeplus.wordpress.com%2F, your site is blocked on their end for violating Facebook guidelines. That has nothing to do with SSL on your site.
Please contact Facebook support directly to have that reviewed, as there is nothing we can do on this end to have your site be unblocked by Facebook.
