My site is gone, and I am not sure why.

    I had a site called chriscarrera.com and I just discovered today it does not exist. I am not sure why. I checked my server Dreamhost and it seems fine there. So, I tried logging into WordPress and it acted like my site does not exist. I see now record of it. My username is/was chriscarrera_41m11j I had all sorts of video and writing posted to it.

    Hi there,

    I’ve taken a look at your site and I can confirm I am not able to see it. Sadly we’re limited in how we can help because we don’t actually host your site on WordPress.com. Dreamhost uses a different version of the WordPress platform and we don’t have access to your server files.

    So, I tried logging into WordPress and it acted like my site does not exist.

    Correct, we’re not connected to Dreamhost since they are an outside provider of WordPress sites. And in this case, since you already have a site with Dreamhost, I would not expect that you would see that site here on your WordPress.com account.

    However, even though you are not hosted here I tried to take a closer look as best I could and it seems to me your domain is not functioning correctly and having trouble sending traffic to your site. That’s not something we can access but please reach out to Dreamhost support so they can take a closer look. They should be able to sort that out for you.
