My site is not appearing on google.

    I launched my site two weeks ago, using the wordpress url as my domain and site, however if you google my business it does not show up. Have tried everything on your help sites, nothing works. This is suppose to be a free site, and at one point I was getting billed 60$ in my account before I could launch. Please what is going on? I need this site to be searchable on google.

    Hi there,

    I see this is a new domain. Please note that it can take search engines 4-6 weeks to update their search indexes, so your site may appear in search results until they list your new URL.

    If you wish you can take the extra step of setting up Google Search Console account, and registering your site with them directly. Steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/site-verification-services/#google-search-console

    However if you do nothing Google will eventually scan your site and show it in search results, they just have not gotten around to it yet.
