my site is not live for some reason

  I have renewed my account consistently for years, and for some reason, I’m getting an error message:

  ‘You must respond to the ICANN email to verify your domain email address or your domain will stop working. Check your contact information is correct below.’

  I followed the prompts after confirming my email address, but it still doesn’t work. Then I called the number but they said I had to ccontact WordPress directly. Please advise.
