I’ve read what’s available to help…and then some. I’m not a programmer but I hope I get credit for trying. I added the ‘s’ to the https://, but that did nothing. I’m certainly getting feedback but the ‘ this site is not secure ‘ is not helping with potential customers. I would be so grateful if you can help with this or send me in the right direction! Thanks so, so much!

When I see this, it’s usually that an embedded image uses http instead of https. https://www.whynopadlock.com/ is a good site to test this! What is your site address if you still need help?

I did read about the https issue, but clearly my talents in coding are nil, unfortunately. I gave it a shot, but my tablet looked horrified, so I didn’t continue.

Hello. Me, again. I tried the whynopadlock, which was very helpful. Protocols are the problem since these are being phased out. My site is, essentially safe, but how do I tell customers who are jamming on the brakes? Is there some coding that might work? You tell me, and I’ll promise to do it! ( I did grab a screenshot of the results, but I’m not sure how to attach it here.) Thank you! – M

I don’t understand the Facebook commerce links in your last reply, as they go to broken pages. Are you trying to add buttons that go to a Facebook checkout to dewittstudios.wordpress.com? There are currently no SSL issues on your WordPress.com site.
Can you walk me through steps you are taking to get a SSL error?
Where are you sending customers, as I do not see checkout or payment buttons on your WordPress.com site now?
