My site is old. I accidentally deleted a NextGen plugin and my site went down. I had updated it to SSL and the php updated to 7.2. I purchased a new Imagely Pro package and was going to upload a new theme and start working on it. The error caught by my hoster said it was a theme-plug in error. I can’t access my dashboard. This is overwhelming. I just want to start over with a clean slate!

The site mentioned does not use our managed hosting environment from WordPress.com. Instead, it’s set up on the open source WordPress.org software which is something different.
This page talks about this differences in more detail:
Help with that site comes from https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

I still don’t know how to correct the error I made by deleting the plug in [NextGen] that I really did need for my site. I should have deactivated first to see how that worked. Instead, I deleted it because at the time I didn’t think I needed it. My hosting is with Hostgator. They said the error was theme related, therefore I assume it’s due to the fact that I deleted that plug-in. But I don’t know how to get it back. I’ve emailed Imagely as I bought their pro plan and have one on one support. And my new plan has the updated NextGen gallery.
Thanks. This is all too technical for me.

You’ll need to contact that plugin author directly or use the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ The site is not hosted by WordPress.com. You would need our business plan to use plugins here and there is not such an upgrade on the account you’ve used to contact us.
