My site was hacked and I am trying to transfer the domain over to new account

  My previous wordpress account was hacked and I am no longer able access my website. I have therefore set up a new wordpress account, but I am struggling to sync it up to my hosting and URL.

  I know that this will mean that I have lost all my content, but at least I will now have access to my website again.

  Appreciate any help on offer

  What do you mean by “Synch it up to my hosting?” http://fayelambert20.wordpress.com/ is a WordPress.com blog, not associated with any WordPress.org blog at all. It is entirely separate. You can attach a custom domain to it via the domain mapping upgrade and the instructions in the Support documents. http://support.wordpress.com/

  Thanks for your help.

  I am not sure if anyone else has had this issue with hacking and whether wordpress were able to provide any assistance in restoring the previous site?

  First of all, what was the URL of the previous site, starting with http:// to make it clickable.

  I’ve tried getting access by davelambertdrivingschool.com/wp-admin/ and it is no longer acccessible. My previous wordpress account is also not accessible.

  Thanks for the URL. Sorry but that’s not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs being hosted right here on this multiuser blogging platform. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
