  My telephone number ending in 1984 is long lost, as such I cant access if I sign out. I am lucky I am currently signed in because my computer remembers my password. I want to change the number to my new number so I can receive sms via code when I want to log in. Thank you.

  Hi there,

  When you set up two-step authentication you were provided with ten backup codes to use in the event that your phone is lost or stolen. Please use one of those codes to disable two-step authentication, and then you will be able to re-enable it with a different phone number or an authenticator app.

  I don’t have any of those codes. Could you please help me reset it or resend the codes to my email? Thank you.

  Since you’re already logged in, please go to the Two-Step Authentication page and generate a set of backup codes. Then disable it and re-enable on your new phone by following these instructions:

  Enable Two-Step Authentication
