My thumbnail pic used to display normally. Why will it not now????

  When I used to publish to Facebook, my thumbnail image (same pic as my banner at Tifzone, tifvision.wordpress.com) displayed normally.

  However, some time ago the thumbnail became blank, and each time I publish to Facebook, there is a space for the thumbnail pic, but the picture does not display. Please help. This has been really buggin’ my for a long time. I just posted a few minutes ago, so you can see what I mean by going to facebook.com/tifvision as my profile is public and you don’t need a friend request.

  Hi there!

  It looks like there is no image associated with this newest post. To have an image appear there you’d need to do one of the following things:

  1) Set a Featured Image in your post.

  2) Set a Gravatar image.

  3) Set a Blavatar.

  Let me know if you have any questions about this.

  Ok, what I need to do I guess is to set a blavatar. I’d like to use the same picture that is already set as my banner, but I cannot find that picture on my computer. How can I tell it to just use the banner picture that’s already in my media files as my blavatar? Thanks, Tif

  Hi Tif,

  Blavatar images need to be uploaded directly from your computer, but if you need you can right-click on your site’s header (banner) image to save it to your computer. That way, you can upload it as your site’s Blavatar.

  It looks like you got this sorted out and uploaded a Blavatar image — it looks great! Please let us know if we can do anything more to help. :)
