My Username is wrong.

  I was just changing a few things on my profile for my WordPress blog and discovered that my username is “indoxploit” in WordPress which states it cannot be changed. Can someone explain how I got that username? I certainly would never have chosen that as one. I’ve been using WordPress, through my Hostmonster account for over 15 years and have never used indoxploit for any of my logins or access any account, it’s always been “hdh15” for WordPress. Why did this change? Did someone hack my account to make it indoxploit?

  Hmm, unfortunately I can’t see the admin side of the site. It isn’t hosted on our servers (here’s the difference between the free DIY software and our services). The username they used does make it sound like someone unauthorized got in, though, and they may have done other things to your site. If I were in your shoes, I would contact my host to get a recent backup restored.
