my usual blogs I have subscribed to forever have just disappeared

  where are my updates? for god’s sake, will someone answer me? frustrated as hell.
  the only email I WAS using won’t get recognised by this crowd, where are all the blogs I have been following for ages. just disappeared into the ether. will not activate again, at the email I WANT to use, the email I HAVE been using for ages

  Hi there,

  I’m sorry for the frustration. What email address were you using before? I can use that information to check in our system to see what might have happened with it. (You can put your email address in your reply here, and our support forum software will hide it from everyone except staff.)

  I was using (email visible only to moderators and staff) for all the usual blogs I want to follow..thanks for your help

  Thanks! I checked and I see that you subscribed to a number of blogs via email at that email address, before creating your WordPress.com account. You can manage those email subscriptions here:

  Status

  For any blogs you followed after creating your account, you’ll see those listed on the Edit Blogs I Follow page. You can also manage your notifications settings to unblock emails from WordPress.com, so you can continue getting email updates from the blogs you follow.

  Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

  thanks but where the hang are all the old ones that I have had for years??? all those are lost, are they? of course, I cannot remember their names now, just occurred to me how many are missing..this is incredulous… you must have access to my history? surely.

  I’m glad you found them there. :) Can you also check your account’s notifications settings? If the box under “Block Emails” is checked, you won’t get any email updates from those blogs.
