My website disappeared… I have no access to my website ( www.lovethatseasy.com) and no access to Word Press as well

My website has disappeared… I have no access to my website ( http://www.lovethatseasy.com) AND ALSO no access to Word Press, as well.

I contacted GoDaddy, which hosts my website. I paid $79 for a WP technician. WP technical support is contracted out by GoDaddy to these people, for WP problems. These WP technicians were supposed to email me within two hours, when they were ready to begin work restoring my website and restoring my access to WordPress.

I just saw here. in my account settings, that the email address on record is my husband’s email, ktjclancy@gmail,com. I want my own email in my account settings- (email visible only to moderators and staff). How do I change that? I thought I had already edited my email address to be- (email visible only to moderators and staff) in my account settings!!???

Just out of curiosity, would it have been possible to come here directly and not to have paid the $79 for technical support… I ask, in case this ever happens again?

How long before my website… and WordPress access are restored?

I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

We can’t help you as your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform. Only GoDaddy support can help you in this matter.

    Hi there!

To clarify what staartmees said above, your site at lovethatseasy.com is not hosted by us at WordPress.com. It uses the self-hosted WordPress.org site and is hosted by GoDaddy.

There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it well: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.

Please contact GoDaddy support for help with this. As the site was hosted by them, only they can help you here.

    Regards
