My website has a 404 error and has blocked me out

  I attempted to change my website url to a secure https but it caused a 404 error and now my site is inaccessible (as an administrator or as a user)

  This was the advice I followed from a previous WordPress forum:

  The site already has a Let’s Encrypt wildcard SSL certificate installed.Please go to your admin panel general settings and change the site and home URL from http: to https:. Then try accessing your site with https: instead of http:. If you still see “mixed content” errors after changing the two settings, you will need to use a plugin that manually corrects the http: URLs stored in your database.
