my website has been hacked. It is covered in ads. The domain names attached to my emails are unavailable . My log in is not accepted.

    my website has been hacked. It is covered in ads. My domain names attached to my emails are unavailable and therefore I have no email access. I can’t log in to my account. I am still paying for hosting and domains through direct debit but have no access. The .com.au domain is hosted by GoDaddy – but they say it is ‘pointed away’ and they cant access it. I have no idea how this has happened and there is no-one to ask. My business has collapsed as a result. I am not tech savvy and have no time or interested in learning how to deal with this – it is outrageous!

    What is the URL of your site on the wordpress.com platform? You are logged as graceunderwood18 but that account has no website on the wordpress.com platform.

    Hi, I received a phishing email that contains a link to: http://legolish.org/

    When I tried to warn the owners of the site I could not find a contact email so I wrote you guys because you host that site.

    My email is; (email visible only to moderators and staff) I will keep the phishing email a few days in case you would like the header info.

    The actual phishing page is:

    They send you thru a security spoof first at: http://legolish.org/Dd9bgfb8ch8086e42/index.php?cxa=(email visible only to moderators and staff)

    Which I thought cute as it grabbed my email address which the sender already has.

    Please take the page down. The site is unsecured and is under construction. Probably never changed default password(s) since putting it up in 2014.

    I am willing to bet if you look at all the subdirectories on that site you will find more than one hacker banging away at it.

    It gives word press a bad name to leave it there as cheesy as the phishing attempt is,

    Please do not post into unrelated threads started by other users.

    The site at http://legolish.org/ is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software at another host. We have absolutely no control over that site, nor do we have any contact details for the site owners, so we cannot help with this.

    That site appears to be hosted with Name.com, so try reporting this to them instead.

    Emails are redacted in this forum for a reason – to protect your privacy. Staff can still see them, so please don’t try to bypass that security measure by typing out your email as you did in your second comment above. I’ve deleted that comment from this thread.
