My website has disappeared
-
Since yesterday my website has completely disappeared from wordpress (including all the content and settings) and I cannot find any way to recover it. Any tips?

Hi there,
What site are you speaking of?
I see two sites in the account you used to post here:
A WordPress.com site, https://astropreneursspace.wordpress.com/, and a stand-alone WordPress site connected to your account via the Jetpack plugin, http://astropreneurs.space/
Both those sites look fine to me, though the WordPress.com site hasn’t been updated since 2017, and the other site only appears to have been created today.

Hi!
I am talking about http://astropreneurs.space/ and the problem is exactly that it *looks* like it was created yesterday but it has been running since 2 years and should look something like this https://web.archive.org/web/20191103165124/http://astropreneurs.space/
with over 100 posts!!!
They have all disappeared and I can no longer access the site’s admin pages. What should I do? I have tried contacting Godaddy where I have my domain who says it’s not their problem. -
I had the same issue last night. My hosting company have tracked it to a problem with Themegrill. If you are using their templates that could be your issue. They sent me this link https://thehackernews.com/2020/02/themegrill-wordpress-plugin.html.%20We
It seems it is the themegrill demo plugin

astropreneurs.space is not hosted here. It is hosted by GoDaddy and therefore you need to get in touch with them regarding your issue.
Your site XXXXX is not hosted by us (WordPress.com). It is using the open-source WordPress.org software and it is hosted by XXXXX. Therefore, you need to contact them regarding your XXXXX issue.
We’re only able to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by us. For help with your site you can also ask over at the WordPress.org forums:

This could definitely be related to the Themegrill demo plugin issue that @michelerigby mentioned above (I just unspammed their comment). If that’s the case, you’ll likely need to contact your hosting provider directly to help you restore a backup of your site.
You can find more information about the issue with that plugin here:

If you’ve been using that plugin/a Themegrill theme, please make this vulnerability clear to your host when you reach out to them so they can more quickly assist you! When you regain access to your site, I’d recommend following this guide to re-secure your site:
