my website has disappeared

    Out of the blue, my website on wordpress, URL hosted through godaddy, has completely disappeared.

    Can you help me?

    Hi there!

    You’ll need to contact GoDaddy support since your site was hosted by them. We can help with WordPress.com sites only. WordPress sites hosted by other companies are generally called self-hosted WordPress.org sites.

    There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it: WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org.

    I noticed that the domain is now pointing to Dreamhost, a different hosting company. If you had your site with GoDaddy, perhaps you can try pointing the domain back to GoDaddy nameservers.

    If that doesn’t help, please contact GoDaddy support for further assistance.

    You are correct. and I was mixed up. I host with Dreamhost, and have contacted them for support.
    I wasnt sure where the problem in my site lies, but it seems to be on the hosting side. Thank you for the information.
