My website has stopped working

  My website is not working? I do not know why. I am not an expert so please can I get laymans explanations as to what the problem could be. I did try to do the updates that wordpress suggested. But I note that on the activity log it said the site was unresponsive this morning?

  It is really important to me to get the website back up and running ASAP.

  I’m not able to provide much help because that site is using the WordPress installation not WordPress.com (which is here).

  Go to https://wordpress.org/support/ to search the forums and make a new post if you don’t find the details needed.

  If you have some type of rewind plugin installed you can turn the site back to the last working version.
