Wait — this is a forum post? I thought I was asking WordPress directly. Hmm.
I can’t access my site or the edit pages for it. it seems to be gone? WordPress is saying I don’t have a site with them? This is very confusing. I’ve had this site since 2016.
I get the following message:

Also getting THIS:

There has been a critical error on this website.“Fatal error” and “critical error” sound … pretty bad.

This site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider. This is a bit different to a site hosted on WordPress.com. You can read about these differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
For help with downtime with the site, you would need to reach out to the hosting provider for help with the site.
