My website is not showing up reader

    Hi!

    I have a wordpress.org website hosted via Bluehost. I have read that you can connect it to WordPress.com’s reader. I have done that but my posts are still not showing up on reader still, even if I type the name of my post word-for-word.

    Hi there,

    Your posts will only start appearing in Reader Search once someone has followed your site in the Reader.

    And even then there’s no guarantee that your posts will appear for any search term, just like there’s no guarantee your site will come up in Google results for any search term. Reader search uses an algorithm that looks at various factors, including the text of the post title and contents, but also how many like and comments a post has received, when it was published, etc.

    You currently have no followers in the Reader so I followed it briefly which will hopefully start getting it indexed, but that process will take some time.

    For your posts to appear in Reader tag listings and recommended posts you’ll need to be on one of Jetpack’s paid plans. Some hosting plans at Bluehost include a free Jetpack Premium subscription as far as I know, so perhaps ask them about that.
