  my domain isn’t working and it was until yesterday, it is valid through 2023. why isn’t it working?

  @bonitastacos, I can’t see a custom domain on this account, but we can have a look if you’ll send the domain.

  Sometimes if there’s plenty of time left on the domain and it stops working, it just means you need to verify the contact info. So you might watch for that, too.

  It’s registered to my email (email visible only to moderators and staff) so I can send the request from there if needed or you can send me a verification.

  Thanks. I can see you logged into the right account. It looks like this domain actually was not renewed. It expired a while back. But it gets a new expiration date as it goes into redemption status:

  Domain Expiration

  That could happen any moment, and if it does go into redemption, the registrar charges an extra $80 to retrieve it.

  I’ll send the renewal invoice right now. Please pay that as soon as possible, and if we’re able, we’ll get the domain back before they charge a fee.

  If we aren’t able to get it back in time, we’ll let you know so you can decide whether to pay the redemption fee or wait it out. Just know that can take several weeks and is risky.

  Hi again!

  While provisioning the SSL for your bonitascantina.com domain, I noticed that you are pointing the www subdomain to Wix so you are actually using your domain for two different sites:

  https://bonitascantina.com/ – This points to your WordPress.com site.
  https://www.bonitascantina.com/ – This points to Wix.

  If you want both to point to your WordPress.com site, then you will want to remove the CNAME record that is pointing to Wix. You can do that by going to **Upgrades > Domains**. That will take you here:

  https://wordpress.com/domains/manage

  Select your domain and there you will see an option for DNS records that will allow you to edit your DNS and remove the CNAME record with the www subdomain.

  In that case, did you want to point the https://bonitascantina.com/ domain to Wix as well? If so, you can do that by changing the name servers of your domain to point to Wix following the instructions here:

  https://wordpress.com/support/change-name-servers/#changing-name-servers-to-point-away-from-wordpress-com
