My WordPress Email address

In scouring the process you have in place in setting up an account, I did not see many alternatives to chose or to even enter my own preference for an email address. (email visible only to moderators and staff)……is not what I would have chose. Apparently i hit some button that ‘railroaded’ me on into something I am not happy seeing now. Your site, in the quest to delete as much usage of your allowed bandwidth, has become confusing to say the least. Not enough personal choices, and it seems we have to use ‘canned choices’ in lieu of personal choices. Perhaps I am reading this all wrong. But, I would like to start over if you can erase what has been done and I can give this a lot of thought before proceeding again.

I’m not sure what you’re referring to. We are not an email provider, we don’t “suggest” or otherwise force you to use a particular email address in any way when you create an account with us, and it’s quite impossible for you to use the email address,
(email visible only to moderators and staff). That also isn’t the email address in use for your account – you can see the email address you currently have for this account on the account settings page:https://wordpress.com/me/account/
