My WordPress installation

I have WP installed on my Mac. This as originally installed when I tentatively started a blog called 1truth1reality many moons ago. I believe that I have deleted that site (could you confirm or explain what that actually means. My username and profile (and presumably the WP installation) is still on my Mac. I also have a domain registered with Greengeeks.com who also host the tentative beginnings of another WP site called geoffbroughton.com – originally intended as a private blog site. This site has neither been developed and I am fairly sure at this point that I no longer require it (although paid for hosting services with them for 3 years now (expires in January next year.
Presumably, if I gain access to this site (admin access) this will use the WP installation on my Mac? Can you clarify please.
After looking at all my options to resurrect website building (for myself and others) apart from my previous point, I still remain somewhat confused. I see my options as follows:-
1. WordPress site(s) hosted by WP using their ‘site builder’ £3/month, £7/month etc does this involve the use of the ‘control panel’
2. WordPress site(s) hosted by WP in some other format??
3. WordPress site(s) hosted by Greengeeks using their proprietary ‘site builder’
4. WordPress site(s) hosted by someone like Flywheel who seem far better established than Greengeeks with far more sophisticated site building software and customer service facilities.
5. Wix (sorry) where life looks oh so simple although I am very keen to get the most sophisticated site building software possible.Anyone out there can help me please.

geoffbroughton.com is a WordPress.org site hosted by eNom and it sounds like the site you are referring to is also self hosted:
We can only help with WordPress.com sites here so I recommend posting to the WordPress.org support forums if you need advice for self hosted sites:

Your questions suggest this is the route you would like to go down but I can answer any questions you have about moving from WordPress.org to WordPress.com — just let me know if that is an option you are considering :)
