My WordPress site no longer appears at www.wordpress.com

GoDaddy has web hosted this site for several years but I want to cancel. I thought I would be able to work on the site while it was offline in WordPress but it is no longer there. I’m quite confused – any help would be appreciated.

If you had a site hosted on GoDaddy, you had a self-hosted WordPress.org site. To move your site from a WordPress.org site to WordPress.com, you’ll need to follow the steps in this guide:
