My wordpress website's IP address

  Hi. Can anyone tell me how I can find the IP address for my wordpress hosted website? I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Thanks.

  To map a domain you already own to your WordPress.com blog, you’ll want need to change your domain name servers. This guide explains how to do it:

  Thanks. I’ve done that. What I’m trying to do now is use a premium theme that I bought. I’m using FireFTP and I can’t connect to my wordpress site. When I log in it asks for the host and I’m not sure what to put. I’ve tried the domain itself and the three IP addresses listed in the support section listed above but nothing has worked. Any idea what I should do?

  There is no FTP access here at wordpress.com, and we cannot add themes at wordpress.COM. We are limited to the 150+ (and growing) themes found in the dashboard under appearance > themes. Themes found on the internet are for self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG.

  From the Domain Mapping support page:

  Same Terms of Service – The Domain Mapping Upgrade does not permit the use of any kind of prohibited code or upload additional themes or plugins. With the upgrade, your blog will still be hosted here at WordPress.com, which means that you will not have FTP access to your files and you will still be required to abide by our Terms of Service.

  Did you purchase the premium theme from WordPress.com or not?

  There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs like the one linked to your username and we cannot install individual plugins or third party themes into them. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

  On free hosted wordpress.COM blogs we can only use the themes which have been coded to run on this multi-user software and made available to us here. > Appearance > Themes and no others.
