Name change in domain

  When I purchased the domain it came up battitudesblog.wordpress.com. I didn’t see a chance to change it to B-Attitudesblog.wordpress.com. How can I change the domain name to the one I intended to have without paying for a new one? Also, I never received notice of the domain I purchased.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  battitudesblog.wordpress.com – is a free blog name – you should not have been charged for it – only custom domain names like battitudesblog.com cost money –

  If you were really charged for a custom domain name you have 48 hours to cancel and get a refund – see

  Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades – you should see any upgrades you paid for – there is a cancel button

  Dashboard >> Store >> Billing History – everything you have paid for in the last few years

  Domain names are all lower case – can’t remember about the Dash ( – ) at WordPress.COM if it is a valid character or not

  If you delete battitudesblog.wordpress.com it will be gone forever and can’t be used by anyone even you the original owner – set it to private if you don’t like the name and use it to practice with

  To get a new free domain name (spelling errors are forever here) –

  Dashboard >> My Blogs >> at the bottom of the page – right side is “Register a New Blog” just follow the instructions and skip anything that asks you to pay
