Name taken, but no longer in use

  I wanted to register a blog but it says the address is already taken. However when I type the address tellyouwhat.wordpress.com it says the blog was deleted by its author. Then why can’t I use that address?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.com’s current policy does not allow recycling of site URL’s. You can read about it here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  You can however purchase the domain name you desire and map it to any WordPress.com address, the underlying URL doesn’t make any difference. Both domain name and mapping are paid upgrades.
