    Hi there!

Oh my that doesn’t look right! I just checked your site now and it looks like it’s okay as seen here:

I checked on Google Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. It looks good to me. If you are still seeing the Header below the Navigation Menu, can you can you please try clearing out your cache and cookies using the guide below?

    Thanks for your reply.

Actually It hasn’t been fixed yet. I was just messing around with other things such as using theme logo instead of header but it didn’t work because it doesn’t compatible with ipad and iphone versions. It looks fine on PC side but not on ipad and iphone.

    So I still need a solution :(

you can go to my blog again to see how it looks like! So annoying!

    Hi there!

So if you add a Custom Header, the theme automatically moves the header below the navigation menu. You can read this in the support page for Dynamic News here:

    http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/dynamic-news/support/

If you scroll to the bottom it’s mentioned there as seen here:

I tested this out on my test site, and found that to be the same. However, one way to get around this is to upload a logo instead of a custom header by going to Appearance > Customize > Theme in your Dashboard. Upload a logo image and that will appear above your menu.

Also, since you purchased a Premium Theme you can also receive support directly from the theme authors. If you have any other questions that you want direct support from, feel free to reach out to them here:

Thanks again for the reply but I think you didn’t read my message properly because you are offering me a solution that is giving me problems already!

As I said in my last message when I upload a logo instead of header, it fixes my problem but then another problem occurs which destroys my web site’s iphone and ipad view.

I just need something to fix my problem without uploading a logo to my web site. Something like, “how to header above nav menu” or how to move the nav menu under Header” or “relocating the header” .

    Thanks

“how to header above nav menu” or how to move the nav menu under Header” or “relocating the header” .

The thing is you can move this above the menu with CSS, but the reason I can’t provide you a good way to do this is that it may break mobile/tablet views just like the logo did.

Since I’m not quite sure how to do this without breaking the other views, it would be best to talk to the theme author. Since they designed it, they would most likely be able to give you the most efficient way to get this done.

I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help.

I sent a message to the author about that thank you anyway.

Could you also help with something else.

There is no “plugin” section in my dashboard. I have purchased my domain so it’s not free of use and I also purchased my theme. I upgraded my package to $99 one. What else should I do to have that option for my site!

I found this topic but did not understand anything.

Sorry for bothering you again and taking your time this much.

    Thanks in advance.

No worries at all! So, with the plugins questions I’m afraid I’ll have to bearer of bad news once again.

It is not possible to install plugins on WordPress.com, for security reasons. Plugins can only be installed on self-hosted WordPress blogs. If you are wondering how WordPress.com differs from WordPress.org, this support article explains the distinction:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

However, WordPress.com has a lot of built-in features that were inspired by popular plugins. Chances are, the feature you are looking for is already there! You can search our support site via this link:

    Home

If what you’re looking for isn’t there, can you let me know exactly which plugin you are trying to add? I’d be happy to see if we offer something similar.

As for WordPress.com Premium, take a look at that link and it will show you exactly what is a part of that upgrade.

Let me know if you have any questions with this!

I’d like to add Forum in my blog and I don’t know how to do that without adding any plugins! I couldn’t find anything about “adding forum” in those links! Seems like everyone does it through plugins!

  • Unknown's avatar

Ah I see. So in order to add a forum you would need to be using the self-hosted WordPress install.

If this is a necessity for you it would be best to move over to .org. This guide will step you through the process of moving your site to a WordPress.org instance:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-org

As we only support sites hosted here at WordPress.com, all issues with the new site – including the importing of the file – must be taken to the WordPress.org support community:

If you’d like assistance moving your WordPress.com site to WordPress.org, we have a service called Guided Transfer that does all the work for you. Check it out to see if it’s right for you:

I am not that pro yet so I better get more experience on wordpress.com first:)

Thanks a lot for all your help.
