Navigation drop down not working

  Good Afternoon, I have added in a dropped down into my navigation set up which is fine, but when I have created a pattern to create my navigation style its not showing the full drop down list of child pages on the live site currently.
  
  I’m not sure what I have done, unless I make the background for this element huge I don’t see the full list of child pages when I am on the screen as you can see in the screen grab below.
