  I am looking for a person to help me transfer a website. The past owner has passed away. We do not have any records from him that allows us to access the web site.

  And a quick note for @gdbbsmaschino, since your question is a different topic: a Blog (posts) page is meant to look empty in the editor, because WordPress fills it with your latest posts automatically. If your homepage content is showing up there, it usually means the Homepage and Posts page are set to the same page under Settings and then Reading. Setting them to two different pages normally fixes it. This guide walks through it: https://wordpress.com/support/reading-settings/.
