Need Admin access

  Hi there,
  I have just taken over a university lit journal and the login I have been provided to the wordpress.com website has no ‘Appearance’ menu. I’m trying to change the theme, reorganize and the menu, and a few other things.. I’ve tried researching online but all I can find is that I may need admin access to see the appearance menu and edit these things. However, whoever once initially set up this page is long graduated and gone. I am not sure what to do. Is there another way for me to make changes? Or have more control? I hope this makes sense.   Hi there,

  The account you’re using to post here only has an editor role on the site. To make changes to the site appearance you need to be an admin.

  Only the owner of the site, antoinettelori, can change your user role to admin. We cannot make those changes on request and without the site owner’s consent under any circumstances, so the only way is to try and reach that person so they can either change your user role, or transfer ownership of the site to your account instead.
