  What exactly are you trying to do? If you have your own domain you want to connect to that site, you’ll need to upgrade to one of our paid plans. That will allow you to add our domain mapping upgrade:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

  We recommend that you change your domain’s name servers to point to us, rather than pointing the domain via IP along with that upgrade, as using name servers are generally more reliable.
