Need assistance with refund.

    I got a notice for an automatic renewal I didn’t want, and am having difficulty finding a way to directly contact WordPress on the status of my refund. What do I do?

    It looks like there was a chargeback filed against us for this renewal payment on 20 July. That would have caused the Personal Plan, which gave you access to live chat support, to be removed from your site, and also prevents us from issuing a refund.

    Chargebacks and Disputes

    As you can see from that page, it can take several weeks before our payment processor decides on a chargeback, and while the dispute is pending, the funds are frozen.

    Luckily in this case it appears our payment processor has already closed the dispute, and in our favour, so I’m able to refund you now.

    Your renewal payment also included the renewal of your domain, designsbydevlin.blog. Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future.

    Please confirm if you’re sure that you also want to cancel this domain. Then I can refund the full amount.

    Or if you still want to use this domain, I can instead give a partial refund and restore the domain to your account so you can use it or transfer it to another provider.

    I would also like to cancel the domain, I simply cannot afford the expense at this time.

    I’ve cancelled the domain, and refunded your payment. Refunds typically takes around ten business days, but it looks like you paid directly via PayPal, and those are typically processed within a few hours on PayPal’s end.
